Aerial work platforms/MEWP or cherry pickers facilitate access to heights and improve working conditions in many activities. However, the risks associated with working from an elevating platform remain (particularly the risk of the basket tipping over). It is therefore strongly recommended to strap yourself in when working in such situation, either to prevent a fall, or to cushion it when a fall is unavoidable.
